3 Point Pledge
For the 2024-25 UAlbany Men's Basketball season, we are running a 3 point pledge. With our exciting offensive threats all over the court, we look forward to high scoring competitive games opening up the floor from long range territory.
Join us by pledging a donation towards each 3 pointer made by our UAlbany Men's Basketball team this season to support our Danes of Greatness collective to keep UAlbany competitive in name, image, and likeness (NIL).

Academic Pledge
As passionate supporters of UAlbany athletics, we understand the immense pride and excitement our student-athletes bring to the Capital Region. Their dedication on the court is matched by their commitment in the classroom. Recognizing this dual pursuit of excellence, Danes of Greatness is offering a pledge for each semester for our student-athletes to support their academic journeys of these exceptional individuals. Our contributions will help provide additional resources, ensuring they have the tools necessary to succeed in their rigorous academic programs alongside their demanding athletic schedules. By investing in their education, we not only bolster their individual futures but also strengthen the academic reputation of our beloved University at Albany.
You are invited to pledge your own dollar amount for each team member's grade that falls within the A+ to B- range each semester (there were 39 grades in that range for mens' basketball during the fall 2024 semester). Our academic services staff will regularly keep us up to date. The contributions made through this opportunity would be placed in a fund that any team member could use for academically oriented expenses not covered through scholarships. For example, students may need or want to take an additional course not covered or experience problems with technology (i.e. laptop needing repair or replacement) required for the classroom.
Therefore, we call upon all fellow fans to join us in this crucial endeavor. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a tangible difference in the academic lives of our student-athletes. By collectively investing in their education, we demonstrate our unwavering support for their holistic development and ensure they have the opportunity to reach their full potential in all aspects of their university experience.
